After a super yummy lunch at Sagebrush BBQ in Grand Lake, Jason and I hiked a little ways up the East Inlet Trail.
It's a special place for us - we had our second date here and it's where he proposed :o)
We thought we'd be too early for flowers but turns out the early bloomers were out in force.
Guess they're lovin' all the rain/snow we'd been getting!
We saw tons of red columbine along the trail!
I'd say yes again to this man in a heartbeat! Am so lucky to share hikes and life with him! <3
I just can't get enough of these flowers. They're called Calypso Orchids but also known as Fairy Slippers :o)
